About Green Power

The Renewable Energy Council of CII-Godrej GBC, led by seasoned industry leaders and experts, has the vision of enabling India to emerge as a global leader in renewable energy. Since 2002, CII-Godrej GBC, under the guidance of the RE Council, has been organising the Green Power Conference annually. Over the years, Green Power has emerged as the leading and the flagship platform of the country for discussions and deliberations related to renewable energy in India. In continuation, CII – Godrej GBC is organising the 24th Edition of the Green Power 2025, Conference-cum-Exposition on Renewable Energy, on 26 & 27 June 2025 at IHC, New Delhi.

The main objective of Green Power is to promote a business-friendly policy framework & long-term investments in the Indian Renewable Energy sector and to support the Government in meeting its target of 500 GW by 2030 and beyond.

Green Power 2025 will feature a two-day conference with various technical sessions covering the theme of the event. In addition, the winners of the 7th Edition of CII Performance Excellence Awards for Solar, Wind and Hybrid Plants will receive their awards during the valedictory function of Green Power 2025.

About the Event

The CII – Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, with the support of all the stakeholders of the Indian Renewable Energy sector, is facilitating the Green & Renewable Energy movement in the country. This initiative has been very well received by the Indian industry in the past several years. In continuation of this initiative, CII – Godrej GBC is organising the 24th Edition of the Green Power 2025, Conference-cum-Exposition on Renewable Energy, on 26 & 27 June 2025 at IHC, New Delhi.

The main objective of Green Power is to promote a business-friendly policy framework & long-term investments in the Indian Renewable Energy sector and to support the Government in meeting its target of 500 GW by 2030.

Green Power 2025 will feature a two-day conference with various technical sessions covering the theme of the entire event. As part of this event, all best-performing Renewable Energy units across India will receive the ‘Performance Excellence Award’.

  • Owners of Solar/ Wind/ Hybrid Plants (Project Developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Energy Consumers, Captive Power Consumers)
  • EPC/ O&M contractors who are operating the plants (After Warranty Period) can also apply; however, they need to provide a no objection certificate (NOC) from the owner of the plant
  • Power generated from nominated plants can either be used for captive purposes or sale to third party (DISCOMs/ Energy Consumers)
