It gives me immense satisfaction to reflect on the successful completion of the Academic Paper Presentation Session on Low Carbon Technologies and Energy Efficiency, held as part of the Energy Efficiency Summit 2025.

Over the past 24 years, the Energy Efficiency Summit organized by CII Green Business Centre (GBC) has evolved into a premier platform for advancing the energy efficiency movement in India. It began as a dialogue among the proactive industries for energy conservation and has today grown into a powerful catalyst for sustainable transformation, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to accelerate India’s decarbonization journey.

To further leverage this flagship platform for translating cutting-edge research into real-world industrial applications, the Energy Efficiency Summit 2025 featured, for the first time, a dedicated one-day Academic Paper Presentation Session.
This initiative was designed to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia and to encourage knowledge exchange that supports India’s low-carbon transition. The session provided a dynamic interface between researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders, showcasing the critical role of innovation and scientific inquiry in advancing sustainable industrial practices.

The initiative has already begun creating meaningful impact beyond the conference platform. Some of the leading Indian industries have started reaching out to authors to explore collaborative projects, effectively bridging research and implementation.
