Dinesh Ghai Leads the team of Energy Auditors in CII and works on energy efficiency & climate change related projects and events.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of energy efficiency and climate change. He himself have conducted more than 400 energy audits and 200 training programmes across various sectors including Paper, Sugar, cement, Textile, FMCG, SMEs. He has also worked for the development of CDM projects for various industries and he has been involved in conducting validation and verification activities of CDM projects.

Apart from being a part of energy audit team in carrying out energy improvement studies in various industries, he has also worked on projects on municipality energy efficiency, MSME M&V studies, GHG Inventorization, ISO 14064 and ISO 50001 audits, development of sector specific technology roadmaps, PAT M&V studies, energy efficiency studies in Indian Railways etc. He has also conducted numerous training programmes on energy efficiency.

Dinesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He is also a BEE Accredited & Certified Energy Auditor and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
