Shri K. S. Kasi Viswanathan

A visionary leader with over four decades of experience in the Indian paper industry, Shri K. S. Kasi Viswanathan has played a pivotal role in advancing sustainability, efficiency, and innovation in papermaking. A Chemical Engineer from NIT Trichy and an MBA graduate, he is known for his meticulous planning, technical expertise, and deep commitment to environmental stewardship.

Under his leadership, SPB has achieved remarkable milestones in energy efficiency and sustainability—earning accolades such as the GreenCo Gold Rating (2017), CII Energy Management Awards (2017 & 2018), TNPCB Green Award (2017), and National Energy Conservation Awards (2003 & 2004). A former President of IPPTA and Chairman of IPMA’s Technical and Environment Sub-Committee, he has been instrumental in making PaperTech a premier industry platform.
